We had a little thunder last night, along with power outages. Then an electrician and an inspector came to check out our electrical system: that's unrelated to the power outage. As of this moment, the household wiring is certifiably okay, power's back on: and I'm hoping for no more interruptions. For at least several hours.

Oh, yes: electricians who have been working on this household's systems are aware.
Happily, most of the goofy parts of the systems should now have been identified and fixed.
